The Concert

Carmina Burana at Carnegie Hall

Carl Orff’s monumental masterpiece Carmina Burana comes to the stage of Carnegie Hall in a spectacular international collaboration bringing together artists from Germany and the United States.

Under the direction of Andrea Fessmann, this powerful performance unites the Bavarian Carmina Choir, the VOENA Children’s Choir, distinguished soloists, and an American orchestra in one of the most electrifying works of the choral repertoire.

From the thunderous opening chorus O Fortuna to its exuberant celebration of life, love, fate, and fortune, Carmina Burana remains one of the most thrilling and widely celebrated works in classical music.
